Description

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and the Airframe Systems Lead Leader, this role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate across all departments, ensuring seamless integration with company operating policies. Your primary focus will be on maintaining easyJet's Continuous Airworthiness obligations as per EASA Part ‘M’/Part CAMO standards, with a keen eye on safety, reliability, and value maximisation. Building strong working relationships with aircraft and system/equipment manufacturers, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing aircraft availability and system reliability while liaising with Airworthiness Regulators as needed.

What you’ll be doing:

As part of this position, you will be responsible for providing troubleshooting assistance during Aircraft-on-Ground (AOG) or Out-of-Service (OOS) events, as well as developing procedures to address long-term reliability issues. You'll also assess and manage all technical documentation relevant to easyJet aircraft and components, including Airworthiness Directives and

Collaborating across departments, you'll support modification programs, software updates, and compliance with regulatory requirements, while also contributing to the company's Reliability and Maintainability initiatives through defect analysis and timely resolution of occurrence and audit reports. Building strong relationships with manufacturers, you'll work to ensure continued airworthiness and enhance aircraft availability and system reliability. Additionally, you'll play a key role in developing and refining processes to improve overall aircraft availability, system reliability, and Maintenance Programme Development. This role will also involve representing easyJet at OEM and industry meetings to support the Technical Development of the Fleet.

What you’ll need to do the role:

We are seeking a candidate with a recognized degree in Aircraft Engineering or an EASA aircraft maintenance engineer’s license, coupled with extensive knowledge and experience in EASA Part M/Part CAMO functions, reliability control, and Maintenance Programme development. Ideally, you should have experience with Airframe maintenance systems, particularly with Airbus 'Single Aisle' aircraft systems, and familiarity with aircraft 'Maintenance Control Systems' (AMOS). The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, committed, flexible in approach, and adept at adapting to change.
